The annual Fairbanks Folk Fest kicked off in Ester’s community park. Ester is a town located outside of Fairbanks.

The folk festival presented a day of live music from genres such as blues, jazz, bluegrass and Celtic as well as food trucks and art activities. The festival featured numerous bands including Ice Jam, Deja Vu, Valley Below and many other volunteer bands.
