In April 2023 everyone thought that the dance program at UAA was done. UAA performed a farewell performance at the Anchorage Museum and Jill Flanders Crosby retired. Then, with community support and support from the Atwood Foundation, dance was back in the Spring of 2024. One year later, Term Assistant Professor of Dance Katie O’Loughlin tells The Northern Light how relaunching the program has progressed.
