A week in Nome: The finish line of the 2023 Iditarod, a snowmachine race and a fire

Two member of The Northern Light got to spend a week in Nome helping to document the end of the 2023 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race and other events taking place. The trip was a collaboration between UAA’s journalism and public communication department and KNOM, a radio station based in Nome that broadcasts to much of Western Alaska.
