The Northern Light opened its newsroom to students on April 1. Students engaged with the news team and were offered free pizza and soda.
Natural sciences major Jackson Himmelstein said, “It's usually pretty quiet around the student union, so seeing an open door with some pizza behind it is always cool.”
“It's good to come in and mingle and meet the staff,” he said.
Tanner Croft, columnist editor for The Northern Light, said “We want people to know we exist.”
The Northern Light’s next open house will be held April 29. Stop by for a bite to eat and great conversation!
